The North Bethany Beach Patrol (NBBP) is a professional lifeguard service serving nine safety minded oceanfront homeowners associations situated north of the incorporated Town of Bethany Beach, Delaware. NBBP was founded in 2006 by collaboration of Captain Julius Kiss, Lieutenant James Heller, John Zirckel and Mike Jandzen. In 2013 Chief Tom Perry bought the patrol and expanded it’s operations. Since 2021, Captain Delaney Smith has owned and operated North Bethany Beach Patrol.
